Co-founder of Épopée Gestion in 2020 with Charles Cabillic, Ronan is a visionary leader recognised for his strategic expertise. He leads the company’s development with the conviction that regions are the answer to current social and environmental concerns. He values listening and transparency on a daily basis to build a lasting relationship of trust with investors and entrepreneurs. With a participative leadership style, he inspires and mobilises teams around a collective ambition: to reinvest in the regions.

For 12 years (from 2008 to 2020), Ronan was CEO of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, which he had joined in 1995. Under his leadership, the banking group underwent a digital transformation, becoming the sixth largest bank in France and a digital champion. In particular, he had overseen the acquisition of Fortuneo in 2006, then the second largest French online broker, and contributed to the reinvention of online banking as well as to structuring partnerships with the jewels of French Fintech, such as Leetchi, Pumpkin and Younited Credit.

Ronan has been passionate about cycling from a very young age. Although he considered becoming a professional cyclist for a time, he finally chose to put his go-getter temperament at the service of regional development, without ever giving up his passion for cycling. Every year, he covers several thousand kilometres, with a particular fondness for the slopes of Corsica, which he rides every summer to his great delight.
