Épopée Gestion and Vicartem announce the acquisition of Maison Nô in Lyon, operated by Younight Hospitality

Continuing the momentum that began in 2024, Épopée Gestion and Vicartem are strengthening their partnership with the acquisition of Maison Nô, a 45-room 4-star hotel located in the heart of Lyon. Younight Hospitality will manage the hotel, continuing a shared strategy of developing sustainable, unique hotels with deep roots in French regions.

A prime location in the heart of Lyon’s peninsula

The establishment has 45 rooms, contemporary common areas and a panoramic rooftop with a bar and restaurant: a particularly distinctive feature in the Lyon market. Its location in the heart of the Presqu’île, one of the most sought-after areas of Lyon, reflects the attention paid to selecting locations that are both strategic and fully integrated into their local environment.

Younight Hospitality will spearhead a targeted repositioning aimed at affirming the unique identity of the hotel and its rooftop, a sought-after destination for travellers and Lyon residents alike. Driven by the favourable momentum of Lyon as a destination, this evolution aims to reveal the full potential of this prime asset and position Maison Nô among the leading names in the high-end boutique hotel segment for the long term. Pierre Ferreira-Leal, previously director of the Balthazar hotel in Rennes, will take over as manager of the establishment to oversee this new chapter and lead the operational repositioning of Maison Nô.

Complementary expertise serving the regions

Épopée Gestion and Younight Hospitality share the conviction that a successful regional hotel industry is based on a thorough understanding of the local area and the ability to develop establishments with a strong identity.

Épopée Gestion draws on its knowledge of local dynamics and its expertise as an investor to identify high-potential assets in attractive destinations. Younight Hospitality leverages its operational know-how to create welcoming and distinctive venues that are firmly rooted in their environment.

By combining these areas of expertise – asset selection on the one hand and operational excellence on the other – the two partners are gradually building a coherent and sustainable portfolio designed to enhance the long-term value of the regions in which they invest.

Arnaud Lehuédé, partner and head of sustainable real estate at Épopée Gestion, comments: “The acquisition of Maison Nô marks a new stage in the partnership we have built with Vicartem and Younight Hospitality. Together, we are continuing to build a selective hotel portfolio in the heart of attractive regional destinations. Maison Nô fully illustrates our approach: characterful establishments with strong potential and solid roots in their region.”

Romain Gowhari, founding partner of Younight Hospitality, adds: “This acquisition in Lyon marks an important step in our development with Épopée Gestion. Maison Nô is a premium address, ideally located, which fully corresponds to our vision of a unique and sustainable high-end urban hotel. Our goal is to strengthen its boutique hotel identity and experience, serving a discerning local and international clientele.”
