Épopée Gestion, a leading player in territorial investment along the Atlantic Arc, today announces the appointment of Gaëlle Tanguy as Investment Director within its growth capital activity.

Gaëlle Tanguy’s arrival in Bordeaux marks an important milestone in Épopée Gestion’s development: it enables the firm to strengthen its presence and its investment team dedicated to growth capital in the South-Western France, thereby consolidating Épopée Gestion’s local footprint in a region where the firm was already active.
A graduate of the Mastère in International Economics and Finance from the University of Bordeaux, Gaëlle Tanguy has over 13 years of experience in private equity, with deep expertise across sectors including software publishing, data hosting, financial services (wealth management, brokerage) and B2B distribution. She began her career as an M&A advisor at Sodica in Paris for four years, before joining Naxicap Partners, a majority-stake fund, where she worked for six years. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, she then embarked on a fund project focused on special situations to support underperforming companies, before joining Rives Croissance, a minority-stake fund, for three years, and subsequently Arkéa Capital in Bordeaux, also specialised in minority equity.
Within Épopée Gestion, Gaëlle Tanguy’s mission will be to identify and support high-growth SMEs and mid-caps across Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie, drawing on her deep knowledge of the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem and her expertise in both minority and majority equity transactions.
Ronan Le Moal and Charles Cabillic, co-founders of Épopée Gestion, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gaëlle to Épopée Gestion. Her remarkable background, combining financial rigour, operational experience and entrepreneurial boldness, is perfectly aligned with our values. Her base in Bordeaux will allow us to be as close as possible to South-West entrepreneurs, a dynamic and strategically important region for the development of our growth equity activity. We wish her every success in her new role.”
