A little over two years ago now, we decided to found Épopée Gestion, driven by the conviction that local areas are the right level for revitalising the economy and supporting the attractiveness of regions. At the heart of the regions are the men and women who write great stories every day, whether they are older stories that they are perpetuating in the tradition of a family or young entrepreneurs, personalities in action who create, imagine, develop and reinvent know-how and technologies to provide answers to the current and future challenges of our regions.
In this respect, the West region is an incredible entrepreneurial land teeming with great stories and successes led by actors, each more inspiring and committed than the last.
Thus, after having conceived and launched the ‘Les Awards’ in 2017, which recognised the talents of the Breton economy, we now wish to go further with a new dynamic to unite energies even more and accelerate the stimulation of ecosystems in the region.
Shaking things up with strength and boldness, to highlight the new generation of economic leaders and personalities who are forging their own path and shaping the attractiveness of the regions of tomorrow: that is the ambition we have set ourselves with the launch of the ‘Épopée Les 40’ ranking.
The ranking aims to promote the 40 most talented and promising personalities under the age of 40 in a region. It will be renewed every year to include new talent, whether they are entrepreneurs, managers, engineers or committed personalities. We will also set out to conquer new horizons by extending the awards to other territories in the French Atlantic Arc, such as Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
For this first edition, in partnership with Deloitte, we have called on a jury made up of several journalists from the regional press media who have identified, listed and established the personalities making up the list of winners.
The ranking gives pride of place to men and women who are active and connected to the French Western ecosystem, ranging from promising innovative companies to long-standing local businesses and ministers and secretaries of state. We invite you to discover them. They all have a deep-rooted passion for the region with which they interact.
The paradigm shifts we are experiencing today force us to think collectively and to cooperate. This is also the sense of community that we intend to bring together around the Epic Les 40 classification. Because we are convinced that, at its level, the territory and the talents that make it up are the change we want to see in this world!
